USC football action in the NFL in Week 2 included money makers and endangered starters.

The second weekend of NFL games featured USC football alumni looking to build off a strong Week 1.

For some, it worked out. For others, Week 2 was much more of a struggle.

Here is a look at which Projans were winners and losers…

Winners for USC football in the NFL in Week 2:

Robert Woods

First, Robert Woods got paid. Then he went out and scored his third touchdown of the young 2020 campaign.

The receiver put pen to paper on a four-year, $65 million extension on Friday.

On Sunday, Woods joined his team in a 37-19 victory over the Eagles. It wasn’t a banner day for Woods statistically. He had just two catches for 14 yards, but he added three carries for 19 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Nelson Agholor

Nelson Agholor continues to get the last laugh over Eagles fans who ridiculed him in Philadelphia.

He’s not putting up huge numbers for the Raiders. On Monday he had just one catch for 19 yards (16 targets for tight end Darren Waller had the entire Vegas receiving corps light on touches). Still, he’s making his moments count.

That one catch was a highlight as Agholor stopped on a dime and burst to the right.

After two weeks, he still has more touchdown receptions (1) than any Eagles receiver.

Devon Kennard

Devon Kennard celebrated his first sack and his first home victory as a member of the Arizona Cardinals.

He had three tackles, a sack  and two QB hits on the day.

Michael Pittman

Michael Pittman wasn’t certain to play for the Colts on Sunday. He overcame a toe injury to finish second among Indianapolis receivers in their 28-11 win over the Vikings.

Pittman had four catches for 37 yards, both very early career highs. More opportunities will be coming his way as Parris Campbell suffered an injury.
