USC football’s involvement on Day 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft was quick and easy.

Pittman was the eighth receiver taken in the first 34 picks of the draft, which goes to show just how loaded this wide receiver class was.

Pittman was USC’s second selection in the 2020 draft, becoming the Trojan’s 511th pick in history. He follows in a string of wide receivers from Troy who came into the league in the second round. Most recently, those include JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marqise Lee, and Robert Woods.
Both Smith-Schuster and Woods have managed to carve out strong careers to far while Lee is hoping for a healthier and more productive time in New England, where he just signed. Pittman has the chance to live up to their example or do them one better.
