• USC is getting healthy on defense, but has some major concerns on offense with Brett Neilon out and Tyler Vaughns banged up. How will injuries impact the game this week?
• Previewing Cal requires two simple conclusions: 1. The Bears’ offense is very bad 2. The Bears defense is quite good. What can the Trojans expect to see this week, especially with quarterback Chase Garbers potentially returning to the lineup? Does USC have the juice offensively to contend with Cal’s defense?
