USC vs. ASU 2019 kickoff time announced for Nov. 9 game
The kickoff time for this year’s USC vs. ASU football game has been set for daylight as the Trojans look to avenge last year’s loss at the Coliseum.
Trojans fans may have gotten used to seeing their team play under the lights, but USC can look forward to a daytime outing against ASU in a couple of weeks.
USC vs. ASU will kickoff in Tempe at 1:30 p.m. Mountain, 12:30 p.m. Pacific for those staying home, per Doug Haller of The Athletic. The game will air on ABC or ESPN.

The early kickoff is the third for the Trojans this season. They traveled to Provo to face BYU in Week 3 in the afternoon. They lost that road game and the one a couple weeks later against Washington in Seattle. Having notched their first road win of the season against Colorado last week, they’ll hope to have more success this time.
ASU looked like a surprise contender for the Pac-12 South crown in the first half of the season when they went to Michigan State and pulled off a victory then recovered from a stumble at home to Colorado by besting Cal and Washington State in consecutive weeks. They held a 5-1 record in that stretch.
However, their hopes of a division title have dwindled in the past two weeks. They were handled by Utah in Salt Lake City then came to the Rose Bowl and suffered a beat down at the hands of UCLA.

With three conference losses already on the books, they go into a bye week ahead of the USC game with hopes only of chaos reigning in the South.
The Trojans are coming off a comeback win against Colorado and sport a 4-1 record in conference with a key tiebreaker over Utah. In order to maintain that advantage, they will first have to pull off an upset at the Coliseum against Oregon this weekend.
Should they fall to the Ducks, USC could not afford a slip up in their final stretch of games including road trips to ASU and Cal before a finale against UCLA.
Fortunately for the Trojans, they have won their last two trips to Tempe, both blowout victories.
