Co-hosts Michael Castillo and Alicia de Artola are back with a 66-minute episode this week discussing the latest news around USC football, most of which revolves around the newly released media guide.

What’s in store with this USC podcast:

• Michael and Alicia, low on sleep and recording late at night, open the show discussing the joys of caffeine before getting to the news.
• USC dropped their 2019 media guide on Monday and it contained one big news nugget: Daniel Imatorbhebhe is no longer on the Trojan roster. How big of a loss is that for the team?
• The media guide also included some interesting bios for the trio of quarterbacks who are in the running for the starting job. Alicia thinks they mean something, Michael does not. Debate ensues.
• USC’s freshmen have officially been assigned new numbers, so the RoT Crew run them down and discuss, along with some notable position updates.
• As always, the arrival of Fall Camp means new policies for people attending practice. No surprise, Fall Camp practice are once again closed to the public this year. On the plus side, media will have full access to fill you in, but once in-season practices begin that access will be reduced. That’s a concerning trend.
• In this week’s mailbag, Michael and Alicia answer questions on what people see in JT Daniels, impressions of Josh and Daniel Imatorbhebhe, transfers from USC who we wanted to do well and one of the best emails we’ve ever gotten discussing the perception of Clay Helton compared to other coaches around the country.
