USC basketball has played arguably their three toughest games of the out of conference slate against Nevada, TCU and Oklahoma, losing all three to fall to 5-5 on the young season.
On Tuesday night, they will get a more manageable test when they take on the Santa Clara Broncos at the Leavey Center.
Santa Clara is an unimpressive 5-6 on the season, but they are coming off a pair of wins over Sonoma State and Mississippi Valley State, each by a score of 82-54. Sophomore guard Tahj Eaddy led the Broncos in scoring in each of those games and averages 15.6 points per game.
The Trojans will look to Nick Rakocevic to continue to lead the way with 15.2 points per game while hoping to get more out of Bennie Boatwright, whose poor shooting night against Oklahoma helped bury USC.
During the Trojans three-game losing streak, head coach Andy Enfield has been poised at 99 career wins at USC. The fourth time may be the charm to get to No. 100.
The game will tip off at 7:00 p.m. Pacific on the West Coach Conference’s online platform TheW.tv with Anthony Passarelli handling play-by-play and John Stege
The local radio broadcast is available on 1110 AM KRDC featuring Jordan Moore on play-by-play.
