Wow, the Chargers take #USC OL Max Tuerk at No. 66. Very talented - any spot- but was sidelined most of last season because of knee injury.

There's something about Max Tuerk and SoCal. High school in Orange County, College in LA and now the NFL in San Diego. #USC

Would've started four years at #USC - played C, OT and OG. I'd say based off where he just went - 1st rounder. https://t.co/EONEYdAsVx

Last time the #Chargers drafted a dude out of #USC? Shareece Wright in 2011.

Others of note: Ellison in 2009, Zeke in 2001. Junior in 1990.
Tom Telesco said Max Tuerk's ACL tear is "coming along." Expects him to compete for Chargers' starting center job in 2016.

Tuerk — He is coming off an ACL. But he can play all the positions. Grade: B

Max Tuerk is a really nice add for the OL-needy Chargers. Extremely athletic and versatile. Has played T, G, C. Coming off ACL.

I like getting Tuerk. Not a mailer but a pretty unique athlete at center who is always working to the second level in run game.

Tuerk played all 5 o-line spots at #USC. Versatile, durable and smart. All traits the #Chargers need.

Max Tuerk is the 3rd USC center drafted in the last 4 years, and the highest drafted USC center since @ryankalil in 2007. #USCtotheNFL
