Pollard is the son of Trojan defensive back Marvin Pollard and is the latest in the line of Serra products to make USC their college home.

The 6-foot-1, 180 pound defender is the No. 10 safety in the nation. Capable of playing either safety or cornerback, Pollard is an aggressive addition to the 2016 class.

USC three-way phenom Adoree’ Jackson is a former teammate of Pollard’s from Serra and took a moment to welcome the newest member of the Trojan family.

Pollard is playing this week for Avery Huffman, the daughter of Scout’s Brandon Huffman who was recently diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. He wore a hat with a message for Avery before putting on his USC cap.
