USC vs. Washington State: Coliseum Parking, Tailgating, Weather and Pregame Band Concert Information

Football’s back in Exposition Park, as the USC Trojans host the Washington State Cougars tonight at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. With that, comes the rush of everything college football at USC stands for: the band belting Tribute to Troy, the University Park Campus wall to wall with tailgaters and the Coliseum faithful lined up to greet the team in the traditional Trojan Walk. Headed to the game today? Here’s all you need to know:

Weather: There’s a high of 90 degrees in University Park today. Temperatures are projected to drop to 78 degrees by kickoff, with 48 percent humidity. Wind will be out of the south at 4 mph, which should have little effect on the game.

Coliseum Parking: Per the terms of the new agreement as the rights holder at the Coliseum, USC-sanctioned parking within the grounds of Exposition Park is $25. All lots in the park open 6:00 a.m., though RV parking must be reserved ahead of time and is limited to Lot 1.

On-campus Parking: USC will open all campus lots and parking structures at 6:00 a.m., and just like at Exposition Park, parking is a flat $25. For those wishing to park at the USC Parking Center off of Jefferson and Hope, there’s a free shuttle running to and from the Coliseum.

USC Trojan Marching Band Pregame Concert: Due to the construction at Heritage Hall, the Spirit of Troy will not play on the steps of Heritage Hall this season. Instead, they will perform roughly two hours before kickoff at Cromwell Field, USC’s track stadium. Fans are permitted to view the concert from the stands as Dr. Arthur C. Bartner leads the band through their halftime routine.
