After Su’a Cravens announced his decision to enter the 2016 NFL draft, Twitter overflowed with congratulations, support and questions about USC’s future without him.
Cravens tweeted out his decision Wednesday, citing how fulfilling his NFL dream was too big of an opportunity to pass up.
Though he has one more game to increase his stat line, Cravens has 198 tackles, 33 tackles for loss, 16 deflections and 9 interceptions in 39 career starts at USC.
Naturally, social media was quick to react to the news with players offering their congratulations, media members musing about the impact his departure will have and fans expressing their disappointment in mostly positive ways.
Here’s a look at the best of the Twitter reaction:

Another big blow to #USC's 2016 campaign. I'd argue Su'a was one of the two most valuable players for USC this year. https://t.co/mO2ZE0E1P5

Cravens made the best decision for his future. Can't pass up NFL opportunity and shouldn't take heat for it. https://t.co/HT2mtRxbJW

Cravens, at No. 27, is one of 4 Pac-12 defensive players in the 1st round of Todd McShay's mock draft released today https://t.co/5AhQ8tKS9B

Su'a Cravens did what was best for him and it will be fascinating to watch how an NFL team can benefit from his great instincts.

Only two players in FBS had more than 14 TFLs, and multiple forced fumbles & interceptions: #USC's Su'a Cravens and SDSU's Calvin Munson.

Su'a Cravens is such an interesting prospect. In the right system willing to move him around, he could do so many things.

Su'a waaaay more ready for NFL than #USC ready to defend without him. Good move by Cravens. Huge loss for the Trojans.

#USC Su'a Cravens was as close to Troy Polamalu as i've seen in a long time. Cravens played all over the field and always made plays
