We suspect many USC football fans expected us to nominate Ohio State, Michigan, or Penn State for a Big Ten exodus. However, the conference’s traditional big three programs are its most storied and most profitable. USC will play some exciting games against each school in the coming years and make significant profit.

Michigan State, essentially a basketball school, doesn’t garner the football prestige of its rivals in Ann Arbor. However, the Spartans are the only Big Ten team with this advantage against USC: A .500 or better record.

Indeed, the Trojans and Sparty have a rich history, with a 4-4 record all-time. Moreover, Michigan State has emerged victorious in the school’s last three contests.
