• USC basketball is done, USC football’s Spring Camp practice has been scrapped and the state of California has everyone staying indoors because of the coronavirus. But there is good news for podcast listeners! The medium, and thus Reign of Troy Radio, is still considered an “essential service” so Michael, Alicia, and Kenny are here to talk you through these surreal times.
• If there are no sports, what are we supposed to talk about? And what about the future of sports? Is USC even going to play a football season in 2020? Processing everything is tough.
• This is the first time in our lifetime experiencing a societal shut down like this, but USC’s 1918 squad went through something similar during the Spanish Flu. Alicia tells the story.
• Since we all have time on our hands, the hosts muse over what would happen if EA were to drop a new edition of the NCAA Football video game. Unfortunately, since that’s not likely to happen, everyone shares what they’re doing to get through it all.
