Four-star small forward Khavon Moore announced his Top 12 schools on Monday, listing USC Basketball in his favorites.
USC Basketball’s summer recruiting efforts remained strong on Monday as the Trojans made the cut for four-star prospect Khavon Moore.
Moore, a small forward out of Macon, Georgia, is considering USC in his Top 12. Alongside the Trojans, Moore also named UCLA, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Marquette, Texas Tech, Alabama, Clemson, Providence, Mercer, Georgia and Florida.
Rated 44th nationally in the 247Sports composite, Moore stands 6-foot-8, 187-pounds. He ranks 10th among small forwards and third for prospects in Georgia this cycle.
Though USC is far from the favorite to sign Moore, neither is hometown Georgia. Instead, the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions favor Florida or Alabama.
Still, Moore’s inclusion of USC on his list is another example of the Trojans’ growing recruiting ambitions.
USC’s 2018 recruiting class currently ranks No. 1 in the country thanks to recent commitments from three Top 75 prospects. Four-star power forward J’Raan Brooks was the first to jump on board as the 74th-ranked player on the board. Then Scout and ESPN five-star Taeshon Cherry gave the Trojans one of their highest-ranked recruits of the century, checking in at No. 34 in the 247Sports composite.
