USC Football is coming off of a bye week this week, and looking to see just how good they can be in season 1 of the Lincoln Riley era. Currently, they're 6-1, and ranked No. 12 in the country. If anything, that's even better than they were expected to be. They've got five games left, and the chances of them reaching the Pac-12 Title game are still alive.

This team is good enough. It's especially the case when realizing that this squad's one loss is to a Utah team ranked inside the top 15. Not only that, it was by one point, and required horrendous and one-sided officiating to even get that one-point win.

It was also on the road, in a notoriously tough place to play, on an emotional night where they were honoring two teammates who passed away last year. SC will have a test just as hard, or maybe even harder, come Week 12. Will they end up getting the W? First, this article hits on the rest of the games leading up to then.

Game-by-game prediction for USC Football at Arizona: W--USC 60, Arizona 17

This prediction hasn't changed since my preseason USC Football game predictions. There's no reason for it to. Arizona has actually, if anything, been better than expected just like USC. That being said, they're still a 3-4 team entering this past week, and entered this past week outside the top 121 of FBS in scoring defense. Their defense is horrendous.

Their quarterback in Jayden De Laura does show flashes of potential, but he also is the same guy who completed just 10 of 19 passes against the Trojans last year when he was with Washington State. He had a couple touchdowns, but only 117 yards. He's also bound to turn it over via an interception. He had seven entering Week 8 and threw one against SC last year too.

Projected 2022 Record: 7-1
