USC football: 3 freshmen poised to make an immediate impact in 2022

No. 1 freshman poised to make an immediate impact for USC football in 2022: Domani Jackson
Domani Jackson is the best recruit that USC football had in the 2022 class, and he has the highest chance at making an immediate impact. He's likely the frontrunner for the No. 2 cornerback spot on SC's defense coming into 2022, and his five-star talent is undeniable.
The No. 5 recruit in the entire country for 2022, it's near impossible to argue with the type of prospect Jackson is. He was the No. 2 ranked quarterback in the nation coming out of high school, and the No. 1 recruit in all of California.
At 6-1, 190 pounds, Jackson most certainly has the size to start right away. He's got GREAT speed to go along with that size, as running track in high school clearly seems to have paid off for him. His physical style of play is what USC needs in this new transition that SC's defense is undergoing.
He knows it, as he decommitted from Alabama and signed with USC after they brought in Riley. When he decommitted here and committed to Alabama in the first place, things looked very worrisome.
He clearly likes what's happening back home with this new coaching staff, though, and is hands-down the best recruit USC brought in for this last cycle. He'll look to make an immediate impact, and the other two will as well.
Next. 3 Big Ten matchups USC fans will probably travel to. dark
This recruiting class was not acceptable for USC's standards, but Riley does have some gems in store for Year 1 that have the chance to pop early in their careers.
