New SEC transfers Height (Auburn) and Lee (Alabama) will be starting for SC. Height has shown ability to pressure the QB in the past, but on the flip side has had trouble closing the door on sacks. Lee is an excellent plug-and-play talent who's going to have a big year. He was a Freshman All-American at Bama in 2019, but ended up getting buried on the depth chart after that due to an injury. Even after he was recovered, there were too many bodies for him to compete with over there.

As far as the Middle (Mike) Linebacker situation goes, Davis will get his chance. The freak talent was a four-star 2021 recruit out of Mater Dei (No. 6 LB recruit in the country). The talent's there, he just didn't have much of a chance of success in whatever Todd Orlando ran last year.
