47. Tony Slaton

Tony Slaton began his decorated USC career by helping Marcus Allen achieve Heisman glory in 1981.

Alongside Bruce Matthews and Roy Foster, Slaton was an All-Conference selection that year, as Allen eclipsed the 2,000-yard mark on his way to winning the most prestigious award in college sports.

The following year, Slaton and Matthews once more anchored the line. The Trojan center again was voted an All-Pac-10 selection.

Slaton finished the triple in 1983 as USC’s captain, earning his third All-Conference first team place.

Though the Trojans struggled that season, Slaton was voted a consensus All-American for his work in the trenches. He was also named USC’s Offensive Player of the Year.
