With one of the most difficult schedules in college football for 2015, USC football faces a great challenge as the team aspires to a College Football Playoff berth.

The out of conference slate may leave plenty to be desired, but the November gauntlet more than makes up for soft match ups to start the season.

Even then, the schedule wastes no time in throwing major roadblocks in front of the Trojans, who must prove that they can survive all kinds of conditions this year.

Road tilts against Arizona State, Notre Dame and Oregon should be difficult enough without tricky match ups versus the likes of Stanford, Utah and Arizona littered in between.

On that note, location and timing of each game were taken into account for these rankings, on top of overall opposition strength and specific match up concerns.
