Trojans React To Potential USC Rose Bowl Berth On Social Media

Current and former Trojan players took to Twitter to discuss Washington’s win over Colorado, potentially clinching a USC Rose Bowl berth.

When Washington beat Colorado to win the Pac-12 Championship, the Huskies weren’t the only ones celebrating.

USC fans and players took to social media to discuss the conference title game, first bemoaning the fact that the Trojans didn’t get the chance to play for the championship, then tentatively celebrating the possibility of a trip to the Rose Bowl.

During the game, JuJu Smith-Schuster was the first to call it a contest for the runners up, since the Trojans beat both Washington and Colorado.

His sentiments were echoed by former players Antwaun Woods, Scott Felix, and Su’a Cravens, while Stevie Tu’ikolovatu also let it rip.

Trojan great Matt Leinart jumped on social media after the final whistle to wonder at USC’s chances for the Rose Bowl.

USC’s players answered with a simple message — Roses.

USC will find out their official bowl fate on Sunday.
