The Pac-12 announced weekly matchups for the 2016-17 USC basketball schedule Tuesday, with the Trojans opening against the Oregon schools.

Last year, the Trojans opened the season on the road against Washington and Washington State and ended the season by hosting Oregon and Oregon State.

Fans can circle their calendars for rivalry game against UCLA at the Galen Center on the last weekend of January. A return trip to Pauley Pavilion is set for the weekend after Valentine’s Day.

Andy Enfield’s squad also enjoyed a streak of dominance over UCLA, sweeping the Bruins in the season series, then blowing them out in the first round of the conference tournament.

USC enjoyed a strong start to the Pac-12 schedule in 2016, winning four of their first five conference games.

More from Reign of Troy

Building up a good resume in the early goings allowed the Trojans to earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011, despite losing six of their last eight contests.

Unfortunately, USC ran into Providence in the first round of the tournament and lost a heartbreaker in the final moments.

Heading into the new season, the Trojans will hope the losses of Julian Jacobs and Nikola Jovanovic to the NBA and a handful of transfers out of the program will be offset by the continued development of Jordan McLaughlin, Bennie Boatwright and Chimezie Metu, along with the addition of a few transfers coming in.
