Following the bye week, USC football odds out of Las Vegas have the Trojans favored in their home contest against Washington by three scores.

The opening line for USC vs. Washington is set at 17 points for the home team.

Both the Trojans and Huskies were on a bye this weekend but they entered that bye in very different fashion. USC went to Arizona State and used an explosive first half to hand the Sun Devils their second loss of the season. Washington on the other hand hosted Cal but were bested by the Bears in Seattle.

Steve Sarkisian will be facing his former team for the first time since taking the USC job in December of 2013.

Though that should give the head coach incentive to take care of business at home, there is reason to look beyond the Huskies. The next three USC opponents after Washington are currently ranked. The Trojans will face a date with No. 5 Utah sandwiched between road contests versus Notre Dame and Cal.

USC is 3-1 against the spread thus far in 2015, with the lone loss coming against Stanford when they were favored by ten points at home but lost by ten. The Trojans have covered spreads of 27, 45 and 4.5.

Washington is also 3-1 against the spread with a 2-2 overall record. They covered the spread in a three-point loss to Boise State to open the season but they were favored to beat Cal and lost by six.

This is the largest spread Washington has faced as an underdog this season.
