1st & 10:

First Take… The oasis that makes the desert of the USC football offseason just a little more bearable comes into view this afternoon when the Trojans kick of their 2015 spring camp from Cromwell Field.

The real beauty of spring is in the possibilities. Excepting injuries, camp yields far more positives than negatives.

There are no losses, no nightmarish Hail Mary’s or failed fourth down conversions.

Instead, there are fascinating battles and endless possibilities.

During spring, USC is undefeated, all the hype is justified, Cody Kessler is a Heisman contender and every player has the potential to break out as the next big Trojan star.

As Steve Sarkisian tweeted Monday night, the quest for a championship is on this spring.

So enjoy it Trojan fans, because if USC truly is going to contend for a title this season, now is the time to make it happen.
