Next Saturday’s USC vs. Colorado spread is out in Las Vegas, with the Trojans opening as 19-point favorites according Vegas Insider’s consensus line movements.

The Trojans are coming off a hard-fought 28-26 win in Tucson over the No. 10 Arizona Wildcats, after being favored by 1.5 points at the closing bell. Clearly, Vegas knows what they’re doing.

USC will look for not only their fifth outright win, but their fifth against the spread. The Trojans are 4-2, with against the spread losses coming in both of their outright losses to Boston College and Arizona State. They were favored by 17 and 12.5 points in those two games, respectively.

The Trojans have never lost to the Buffaloes, as they sport an all-time record of 8-0.

Last year in late November with snow on the sidelines in Boulder, USC won outright 47-29 but lost against the spread, which was set at 21 points. Buck Allen led the way for Troy with 148 yards on 21 carries.

Two years ago, the Trojans were favored as 40-points favorites while ranked 11th in the AP poll, and beat the Buffs 50-6 to cover.

Colorado is 3-3 against the spread, and are 1-0 as road underdogs this season. They covered a 14-point spread two weeks ago in Berkeley when they lost to the Bears 59-56 in double overtime.

Saturday’s game is set to kick off at 3:00 p.m Pacific, 6:00 p.m. Eastern and will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
