Josh Webb of couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get a jab in at former head coach Lane Kiffin’s famously protracted quarterbacking decision.

Ryan Abraham, the publisher of, also took a moment to reflect on Kiffin.

Piellucci also covered Max Browne’s perspective.

Evan Budrovich of Conquest Chronicles gave us Sarkisian’s hopes for all his QBs going forward.

As for the prospects of Browne transferring, Rich Hammond of the OC Register put that to bed.

Hammond also had some perspective on the future.

Well, Alicia, Kessler said he worked hard on arm strength, and Sark said that Sark worked Kessler hard on throwing earlier in the route. We should see by game #2 how well these two efforts have done. USC will NEED Kessler to hit critical passes against Stanford. Period. If it goes like last year (save the final possession), the QB battle is not really settled.
