Former USC wide receiver Marqise Lee is widely projected to be a first round pick in May’s 2014 NFL Draft. Where exactly he lands remains to be seen, but ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. sees Lee going at No. 23 overall to the Kansas City Chiefs.
For the fourth mock draft in a row Kiper has the #Chiefs taking a WR, this time USC’s Marqise Lee. Odell Beckham goes No. 18 to Jets.

Lee’s projections thus far have been scattered around the first round, with the New York Jets continuously mentioned as a possible suitor with the 18th overall pick.
Just yesterday, the Jets signed free agent wide receiver and former Denver Bronco Eric Decker, who is expected to compete for No. 1 reps. Judging by Kiper now seeing LSU’s Odell Beckham heading to the Meadowlands, the signing isn’t likely to deter the Jets from picking a wide receiver on day one of the draft.
As for the Chiefs, they just lost the services of third leading pass catcher Dexter McCluster to free agency and have been looking for a companion to Dewayne Bowe for years. Running back Jamal Charles led Kansas City in receptions last season with 70.
The first round of the NFL Draft takes place on May 8th.
