All-Time Series: USC leads 66-60
Last meeting: Oregon State 76, USC 75 on Jan. 30
The USC Trojans will play the first of their final two home games on Thursday when they host the Oregon State Beavers. It will be the second meeting between the two teams this season, with the Beavers winning in overtime on Jan. 30 in Corvallis, Ore.
Andy Enfield’s first season as coach of the Trojans has been a rough go around. After beginning the season 9-4, the Trojans have since struggled and are just 1-13 in their last 14 games, including a current eight-game losing streak. The streak is predated by the Trojans dropping five games in early to mid January.
Byron Wesley is expected to be back in the lineup after serving a two-game suspension for violation of team rules.
The Beavers enter the game fresh off a 24-point home loss to Washington on Feb. 22. They are an impressive 11-3 at home, but just 3-9 in away and neutral games. Similar to the Trojans, the Beavers have struggled after starting the season 7-3.
Roberto Nelson leads the Beavers with 20.8 points per game and 3.6 assists per game. Nelson scored 24 points in the first meeting, including the go-ahead basket in overtime with 25 seconds remaining.
