USC Basketball's Byron Wesley Suspended For Bay Area Trip

The USC Trojans have had a basketball season to forget (at least in Pac-12 play) and things don’t seem to be getting better as they’ll be without top scorer Byron Wesley during this weekend’s trip up north.

The Trojans are slated to play Stanford tonight and Cal on Sunday, both games without Wesley, whose play has been one of the lone bright spots. He leads the team in points and rebounds while averaging the greatest number of minutes on the floor for USC this season.

In Wesley’s place, freshman guard Kahlil Dukes could see extra time on the court while veteran J.T. Terrell will be called upon to lead the way.

Andy Enfield’s first year at USC has produced just one win in Pac-12 play. That lands them in the basement of the conference standings.

Stanford, the Trojans’ opponents tonight on the Pac-12 Network, are sixth in the conference while Cal sits fifth.
