When scores of departing college players flock to Indianapolis near the end of the month for the 2014 NFL combine, USC will be well represented.
Seven Trojans were invited to attend the combine this year: RB Silas Redd, WR Marqise Lee, TE Xavier Grimble, OL Marcus Martin, DE George Uko, OLB Devon Kennard, and S Dion Bailey. Of those seven, five left USC with a year of eligibility remaining.
Two weeks from today i’ll be on that flight to Indy to chase after this dream for real!!

Yesterday, we noted how OLB Morgan Breslin was snubbed from the combine. Other departing Trojans who went uninvited include CB Torin Harris, OL John Martinez, and OL Kevin Graf.
Lee is USC’s highest ranked NFL draft prospect and expected to go in the first round, according to CBS Sports.
However, the remainder of USC’s prospects look likely to go much later. Bailey is projected to find a team in the fourth round, while Uko, Kennard and Martin are fifth round projections. Grimble and Redd are rated as seventh rounders.
Of the 45 players invited from the Pac-12 conference, USC’s seven players put the Trojans behind just Stanford which is sending eight players.
The combine runs from February 22-25 and will be broadcast live on NFL Network.
