The dead period for 2014 recruits in still locked tight, but Steve Sarkisian’s Trojans are still chugging along with recruiting, offering Damien Harris (Berea, Kentucky/Madison Southern) a scholarship for 2015.

Harris is a five-star and the top running back in 2015 according to Rivals. He was named the Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year in 2013.
The offer comes amid reports that Harris has opened up his recruitment after verbally committing to Michigan over the summer.
247Sports still lists the Wolverines as the favorite to win his signature next year, but they’ll have to battle it out with Ohio State, which is also in the picture. Needless to say, USC is at a geographical disadvantage when it comes to this recruit.
The Trojans could lose both Tre Madden and Buck Allen to the NFL next year after their junior seasons. However, highly touted running backs Justin Davis and Ty Isaac would remain for at least a year. USC will not be taking a running back in 2014.
