USC continues to power towards the next slate of recruiting battles even on the eve of 2014’s National Signing Day, this time offering Chuma Edoga (Powder Springs, Georgia/McEachern), a highly-rated offensive tackle.

Edoga is a four-star offensive tackle and the second available in 2015, according to Rivals. He is 6’4, 275 pounds and boasts offers from national powers like Notre Dame, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida State and Tennessee. In the Pac-12, Oregon has also reached out.
In their Crystal Ball predictions, 247Sports has Georgia leading the early race, with North Carolina following.
Even though he plays on the other side of the line, the offer may be partly connected to USC’s new defensive line coach, Chris Wilson, who joined the Trojans from Georgia and would be very familiar with the recruiting landscape in the state.
After some comparatively light recruiting years on the offensive line, USC has stocked up on lineman in the past two recruiting cycles. This year, Steve Sarkisian and company have secured the commitment of some highly touted guards including Toa Lobendahn, Viane Talamaivao and Chris Brown, with potential commit Damien Mama yet to announce. However, the only tackle in this class is midyear enrollee Jordan Austin.
Edoga joins five-star running back Damien Harris in receiving an offer from the Trojans today.
