All-Time Series: USC leads 65-59 (two Trojan victories vacated)

The USC Trojans are back on the road after splitting a pair of home games against Cal and Stanford.
The Trojans’ first conference win came against the Golden Bears, which subsequently handed them their first Pac-12 loss.
At 10-10 overall, the Trojans haven’t had too difficult of a time winning games in the friendly confines of the Galen Center, but are just 2-7 in games away from home.
The secret to the Trojans’ success is true freshman Nikola Jovanovic — they are 8-1 when he scores in double figures. Against the Golden Bears, Jovanovic scored a career-high 23 points.
In the overtime loss to Stanford, Jovanovic managed just five points in 18 minutes. Byron Wesley continues to lead the Trojans with an average of 16.5 points per game.
On Thursday the Trojans will be facing an Oregon State team that is 8-2 on its home court. The Beavers are led by redshirt senior guard Roberto Nelson, who is averaging a conference-high 22.2 points per game.
After beginning the season with an 8-4 record, the Beavers went on to lose four of their next seven games and enter the game with a 3-4 record in Pac-12 play.
With UCLA looming on Sunday for the Beavers, perhaps the Trojans will be able to capitalize if the Beavers are caught overlooking them.
