UPDATE: ESPNU’s updated announcement schedule has Damien Mama set to make his choice at 8:00 am, Adoree Jackson at 11:00 am and John “Juju” Smith at 1:00 pm. All three announcements will be live on ESPNU.
The three biggest targets remaining on USC’s recruiting board are all set to announce their college decisions live on ESPNU’s Signing Day Special on February 5th.
Four-star offensive lineman Damien Mama (Bellflower, Calif./St. John Bosco) will start things off at around 8:30 am as he’ll pick between a top three of Alabama, BYU and USC.
Next up, five-star cornerback/wide receiver Adoree Jackson (Gardena, Calif./Junipero Serra) is set to announce just after 11:00 am. His top four includes Florida, LSU, UCLA and USC.
Finally, John “Juju” Smith (Long Beach, Calif./Long Beach Poly), a five-star athlete, will decide between Notre Dame, UCLA and USC at around 12:00 pm, according to Conquest Chronicles’ Evan Budrovich.
The Trojans are expected to have a good shot at all three and landing even one of the trio would make USC’s signing day a fairly successful one. Landing all three would mean USC bagged three of the top four players in California according to Rivals.
Jackson is still making a decision about where he will go for his last official visit this weekend. If the 5-9, 182 pound corner heads to USC there is an even better chance that’s where he’ll ultimately sign.
Mama recently cancelled a planned visit to UCLA shortly before dropping them from his final four. He could still visit BYU or take an unofficial visit to USC instead.
Smith unofficially visited UCLA earlier this week after officially visiting USC over the weekend.
With 15 commits set to sign next week, USC has four spots to fill on signing day unless things get shaken up along the way.
