Despite the strong push the coaching staff recently put forth, Greg Biggins reports four-star wide receiver Michiah Quick (Fresno, Calif./Central East) is no longer considering USC.
The news comes just over two weeks after the Trojans made Quick’s top-six.

According to Biggins’ tweet, Quick has narrowed his choices to Notre Dame, Oklahoma and crosstown rival UCLA. The news comes one day after the Trojans managed to make five-star athlete Adjoree’ Jackson’s (Gardena, Calif./Junipero Serra) latest round of cuts.
In losing out on Quick, the Trojans have now missed on two wide receivers, with Charles Nelson (Daytona Beach, Fla./Seabreeze) committing to Oregon on Monday.
Quick did take an official visit to USC, which many believed he enjoyed, but signing him appeared to remain a long-shot for Steve Sarkisian.
With Nelson and Quick headed elsewhere, Jackson and John ‘Juju’ Smith (Long Beach, Calif./Long Beach Poly) become that much more important for Sarkisian — if that was possible.
Rivals ranks Quick the overall No. 76 prep player in the 2014 class and No. 7 in California.
With National Signing Day one week away, the Trojans have seen their recruiting momentum dip and peak in recent days.
