Four-star offensive guard Damien Mama (Bellflower, Calif./St. John Bosco) was scheduled to officially visit USC with several other recruits on the Jan. 17 weekend, but had to postpone his trip due to other obligations.
Come the weekend, Mama will at last get the opportunity to visit one of the university’s remaining in the four he is still considering.

While Mama will be officially visiting USC, he, like Adoree’ Jackson, has made multiple unofficial visits in recent months.
At offensive guard, Mama would help fill a position of great need for the Trojans.
For much of the 2012 and 2013 seasons, the Trojans’ offensive line struggled to consistently play at a high level.
The 6-5, 360-pound Mama would bring a physical presence that has been largely absent.
With the popular misconception that Steve Sarkisian’s offense is of the spread variety, it will be imperative for the head coach to relay his true offensive philosophy.
Mama’s final four universities he is still considering are Alabama, BYU, UCLA, and USC. He is expected to announce his decision on National Signing Day.
It’s Official I will be Committing/Signing on National Signing Day at St. John Bosco.

With four scholarships currently available, it is widely believed one is earmarked for Mama, should he choose to attend USC.
If Mama signs with the Trojans, he would continue playing with his high school teammate Malik Dorton (Bellflower, Calif./St. John Bosco).
Mama is ranked No. 39 overall in Rivals Top 100, which was released on Monday.
