USC Trojans vs. California Golden Bears
Galen Center | Los Angeles, Calif.
8:00 pm | ESPNU
All-Time Series: Cal leads 132-120
Last meeting: Cal 76, USC 68 on Feb. 17, 2013
The USC Trojans will be back on the Galen Center floor to face the California Golden Bears after a two-game road trip where the Trojans faced Utah and Colorado, both of which resulted in double-digit losses.
Wednesday’s matchup pits two teams that are heading in drastically different directions.
The Trojans enter the game with a disappointing 9-9 record, are 0-5 in Pac-12 play, and are in the midst of a five-game skid.
During the losing streak, the Trojans are losing games by an average of 22 points, which is likely a result of their 15.8 turnovers per game average.
Meanwhile the Bears are 14-4, winners in their last five games and are tied for first in the conference with a 5-0 record.
Perhaps a silver lining for the Trojans is their 7-2 home record.
However, they began the season 7-0 at home before dropping consecutive games to Arizona State and Arizona on Jan. 9 and Jan. 12.
Another loss, and the Trojans will inch closer to matching their 2012 0-8 start in conference games.
