Rivals.com released their final Top 100 prospects for the class of 2014 on Monday, five days after Scout released their Top 300.
On the list are three prospects in the top-40 that USC is currently targeting.
The highest ranked of the group is five-star Adoree’ Jackson (Gardena, Calif./Junipero Serra) who is rated the No. 6 player in the 2014 class.
Next on the list at No. 24 is fellow five-star prospect John ‘Juju’ Smith (Long Beach, Calif./Long Beach Poly). Smith is followed by four-star offensive lineman Damien Mama (Bellflower, Calif./St. John Bosco), who checks in at No. 39.
It’s no mistake that the Trojans hope to close out their recruiting class with the trio of prospects ranked in the top-40 and they just so happen to have three scholarships remaining.
The Trojans are in the mix for four players outside of the top-40, headlined by defensive back Budda Baker (Bellevue, Wash./Bellevue), who is ranked No. 61.
However, given that there are four current commitments in the class, the prospect to watch is wide receiver Michiah Quick (Fresno, Calif./Central East), who is ranked No. 76.
According to Scout’s recruiting analyst Brandon Huffman, Quick is one of the top two wide receivers in the west region.
In total, Steve Sarkisian currently has commitments from or is aggressively targeting a total of 7 recruits ranked in the Rivals Top 100.
