Ever the social media-savvy university, USC took to Twitter on Monday to formally announce the group of 2014 early enrollees.

The names of the players came as no surprise, but with the spring semester beginning on Jan. 13, the final bow has been tied.

Defensive tackle Claude Pelon was the only early enrolle who did not receive a tweet announcing his arrival.  However, in December, he was the only to garner an announcement on USC’s official website.

With the five early entrants, USC can now sign up to 14 players to continue filling out the 2014 class.  How the class rounds out will be something to certainly keep an eye on.

Current commit Austin Maloata (Corona, Calif./Centennial) stated on Sunday that he was opening up his recruitment.
