USC completed the two-sport sweep of Boston College with a 78-62 home victory over the Golden Eagles.

The win gives the Trojans a perfect 6-0 record at home in Andy Enfield’s first season.

Julian Jacobs continued his rapid development, scoring 16 points to become the first freshman this season to lead the team in points. He added eight rebounds and five assists, both of which also led the Trojans.

Five Trojans found themselves in double digits, including fellow freshman Nikola Jovanovic, who set a career high with 15 points. Pe’Shon Howard, Byron Wesley and Roschon Prince rounded out the five.

Big man Omar Oraby meanwhile can’t seem to shake out of his early funk. Still struggling to find a place in Enfield’s offense, Oraby had just four points.

Boston College was carried by Joe Rahon, who finished with 11 points, six rebounds and nine assists to top all players. He also logged a block.

The Eagles led USC for nearly all of the first half but the Trojans managed to keep it close and went into half time tied at 32-32.

After the break, USC went on a 22-15 run and then broke the habit of relinquishing big leads by finishing strong and securing the 16-point victory.

After the game, Enfield shared a quip regarding another team on campus:

He’s got that streak at home at least.
