The UCLA Bruins beat the USC Trojans 28-14 at the Coliseum to hold onto the Victory Bell for another year and seal their second straight win over their crosstown rival.
Buck Allen rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown. However, Brett Hundley stole the spotlight with 208 yards passing, 80 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
Paul Perkins had three receptions for 79 yards to lead all receivers. Marqise Lee fought through injury to catch six balls for 69 yards.
Linebacker and occasional running back Myles Jack started the scoring with a three yard rush. Then defensive lineman Eddie Vanderdoes punched it in from one yard out to give UCLA a 14-0 lead in the first quarter.
The Trojans answered with a Buck Allen touchdown before the half.
However, UCLA dominated most of the second half.
Brett Hundley took off down the middle and drew the lead up to 21-7 on the Bruins first drive of the third quarter.
Cody Kessler responded with a 22-yard touchdown pass to Xavier Grimble up the middle to give the Trojans a chance at a comeback.
Hundley scored again on a quarterback keeper after a Buck Allen fumble to extend the lead back to 14. Then, Paul Perkins sealed the victory for UCLA with an eight yard rush following a Kessler sack-fumble.
