Practice Report: Marqise Lee and Leonard Williams banged up; USC eating well

No. 23 USC was back at work on Wednesday as they prepare for their upcoming game against the Colorado Buffaloes.

Unfortunately for the Trojans, they continue to deal with lingering injury concerns.

Marqise Lee did individual work on the side and did not participate in team drills. Leonard Williams, who returned from a shoulder injury to play against Stanford, said he plans on making the trip to Boulder, Colo. and will suit up, but that his snaps will likely be limited.

It would come as no surprise if both Lee and Williams’ participation on Saturday is limited.  The Buffaloes are struggling on the season and the Trojans should still have enough to come away with the win.

However, despite their struggles, the Buffaloes do have a potent offensive weapon in wide receiver Paul Richardson.

Josh Shaw called the Junipero Serra product “the best receiver I have seen on film this year.”

Richardson has 1,201 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on the season.

Continuing the practice of providing mouthwatering team meals, Ed Orgeron said the team would dine on 16-ounce ribeye steaks.

Orgeron went on further to say Dove chocolate bars are set to be on the Friday night menu.
