USC Football Podcast: Reign of Troy Radio, Episode 26

USC is hosting their biggest home game of the season on Saturday, when the No. 5 Stanford Cardinal, fresh off of their toppling of the second-ranked Oregon Ducks, come calling into the Coliseum. To get ready for the game, we at Reign of Troy delved into the big rivalry game as we know best, by talking it out.

In this editon of our podcast, we preview the game, discuss the keys to the victory and give our score predictions.

Oh, and we also dub this episode as our “PG-13″ episode. You’ll find at why, at some point. Listener discretion is somewhat advised.

Here’s what on tap in the podcast:

  • It’s not secret that Stanford’s best play comes from both of their lines up front, on offense and defense. The Trojans have a defensive line to match but have been weak on the offensive line and have struggled to keep Cody Kessler’s jersey clean at times. Can USC manage to be effective on offense against Stanford’s big front seven?
  • What must USC do if they want to beat Stanford at home for the first time since 2005?
  • We put our necks on the line and give our score predictions. In a non-surprising twist, we can’t come to consensus.

Stay tuned to Reign of Troy Radio, as we’ll have another installment early next week to break down what happened against Stanford, providing more in-depth analysis.
