In partnership with several member institutions and NeuLion, Pac-12 Digital announced Monday the unveiling of a unified network of official athletic sites (OAS) from the Pac-12 Conference, according to the conference’s official website. Per the Pac-12, the improvements made to the school sites is part of a larger effort by Pac-12 Digital to create “the ultimate digital network to better connect fans to their favorite Pac-12 teams, student-athletes, coaches and schools.”
For Pac-12 fans, the re-launched sites provide accurate game times, dates and scores across all school sites,
desktop, tablet and mobile platform capabilities and a strong emphasis on video. Subscribers to the Pac-12 network will further have access to all seven networks via a “TV Everywhere” authentication, live streaming “events over and above those shown on Pac-12 Networks”, and fun features like vido highlights and interesting stories from around the conference.
To retain each university’s individual brand through these new streamlined portals, the Pac-12 says that each will retain ownership its site design, and school staff will be the primary source of content and programming for their respective sites.
So far, Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, UCLA, Washington and Washington State have all re-launched their new sites on Monday, with USC and Utah coming forthwith.
