EA Sports’s college football game NCAA Football 14 won’t be released to the public until July 9th, but bit by bit, ratings have been leaked. First it was the team and top player ratings, and on Friday, it was the likenesses of the game’s top freshmen.
Making the Top 25 list, which was accumulated by Tradition Sports Online, were USC freshmen Ty Isaac and Su’a Cravens. Isaac gets an overall rating of 81 in the game, while Cravens has been assigned an 80. They are ranked 20th and 22nd, respectively.
Also making the list are a few prominent recruits that de-committed from USC, including Jalen Ramsey and Eddie Vanderdoes.
Ramsey has an 80 rating to match Cravens, though he’s ranked 23rd by TSO, just one spot lower. As for Vanderdoes, he’s ranked 10th, with an overall rating of 81.
The top two freshmen in the game both go to Ole Miss, with the nation’s top recruit and defensive end Robert Nkemdiche being the highest rated at 84. Wide receiver Laquon Treadwell is second with an 83 rating, followed by UCLA’s Jeremy Castro and Alabama’s A’Shawn Robinson. Oregon running back Thomas Tyner is the fifth and final Pac-12 player in the Top 25, coming in at No. 24.
