The USC Trojans held their tenth practice of spring camp on Tuesday, a spirited one that got testy towards the end. In addition to a scuffle, the injuries continue to mount as a couple of athletes left practice today after getting hurt. Beyond that however, it was another good practice for the Men of Troy.
S Demetrius Wright also left practice early due to injury, and WR Marqise Lee is still being kept out. In total, head coach Lane Kiffin said that 19 athletes missed practice on Tuesday.
At the end of practice, a brief but testy scuffle broke out. OLB Devon Kennard dropped RB Buck Allen to the ground, and other players ultimately got involved. DL George Uko came up from the tussle with a bloody nose, but told the media that there were “no hard feelings” when all was said and done.
