As long speculated, four-star defensive end Torrodney Prevot has informed Lane Kiffin and USC that he will no longer be signing with the Trojans during Wednesday’s Signing Day, which suggests that he will sign with Kevin Sumlin’s Texas A&M Aggies.
Prevot committed to USC’s Class of 2013 back in the summer, but the Houston, TX defensive end had long been rumored to be in close with the Aggies. He visited Texas A&M officially just over a week ago, even pausing to take a picture, with several Aggie commits, while wearing an A&M jersey.
The Aggies have 32 commits as of now per Rivals, though just two of those are defensive ends: Jay Arnold and Jordan Points. Prevot would be their 33rd commit, but A&M only has room for 31 signees, as they signed 19 in 2012.
For the Trojans, Prevot is the third de-commit of the day, joining Jalen Ramsey and Jason Hatcher, who are now expected to sign with Florida State and Kentucky respectively.
At one point, USC had five defensive line commitments for the Class of 2013 including three defensive ends. Now, all that remains is just one defensive tackle: Kenny Bigelow.
Eddie Vanderdoes and Kylie Fitts remain in play, and they are set to decide between USC, UCLA and Notre Dame.
