The Trojans convened on Thursday for more bowl game prep. Coach Lane Kiffin it was another great practice with lots of competition, and that the break has really helped the team get things back on track. He also said they will have another break with finals on the horizon.

Marqise Lee did not get back from Orlando in time for practice, but he appeared at the end of it to talk to the media. On Wednesday he received the Biletnikoff Award as a part of the Home Depot College Football Awards, given to the nations top wide receiver.
QB Matt Barkley and WR Robert Woods left practice early. In Barkley’s absence, Max Wittek got first team reps.
5-star Texas commit DT A’Shawn Robinson attended practice as a part of an official visit. USC commit Darreus Rogers, who tweeted Wednesday night about his eligibilty, was also on the sidelines:
Marqise Lee on the College Football Awards:
Lee said being at the Home Depot College Football awards was an incredible experience in and of itself, and that his heart was racing when they announced his award category.
The sophomore joked that he wasn’t nervous, but then laughed and admitted he was. The most nerve-wracking part? Having to catch a ball on stage from Johnny Manziel.
He also said he plans to keep his Biletnikoff trophy in the locker room so that the whole time can enjoy it. The trophy weighs 60 pounds and he will get it in February.
