The Oregon Ducks have been to Coliseum just four times since 1997, and they’ve worn all-white ‘Stormtroopers’ jerseys all four times. When they enter the Coliseum on Saturday as the No. 2 ranked team, they’ll presumeably repeat the trend, given the lengths that the athletic department is going to get fans to also wear white.
Oregon is giving away white t-shirts that say ‘Storm LA’ on them, and in the video above, they’ve gone Hollywood to have the Duck push the cause. It also falls right in line with the athletic department’s dress code program which instructs what color fans should wear to games to create uniformity.
Meanwhile, the Trojans will push forth an effort to ‘Cardinal Out’ the Coliseum, which has typically has only been successful in road games at the Rose Bowl.
USC superfan Roy Nwaisser, also known as “USC Pyscho”, has been a big proponent of wearing Cardinal to the games, starting a push that has seen the Trojans respond on Facebook.
Putting it out there again even though a lot of you will still inexplicably wear black… If you’re going to the game on Sat WEAR CARDINAL!

If you’re a USC traditionalist, the fact that the athletic department is pushing a cardinal-out and not a blackout is a strong sign that ideas of Nike unveiling black helmets or jerseys for the Trojans won’t happen.
