This week’s college football rankings on the FanSided Network are out, with Alabama staying on top of the FanSided Top 25, just ahead of Kansas State and Oregon.
The Oregon Ducks, fresh off of their 70-14 dismemberment of Colorado, earned three first place votes for the first time all season, yet sit third in the poll behind a surging Kansas State Wildcats team led by Heisman Trophy favorite, Collin Klein.
For the Trojans, this week saw Lane Kiffin’s team tumble down the rankings and fall seven spots from ninth to 16th following a 39-36 loss to Arizona. The Wildcats now re-enter the fray and are camped at 23rd, which gives the Pac-12 five ranked teams, while UCLA just missed the poll.
Despite five teams being ranked, it was a bad week for the Pac-12, as losses by USC and Oregon State meant that three top 10 teams were no longer in store, as the Beavers dropped to 13th, just ahead of Stanford, who sits at 15th.
Notre Dame’s big win in Norman saw them climb up one spot to fourth, while Oklahoma fell from eighth to 14th.
The biggest mover of the week however, was Ohio State, who used a win over rival Penn State to propel themselves from 10th to sixth. The Buckeyes are the only 9-0 team in the country.
