…the defense prevents the big play. Arizona leads the Pac-12 in plays over 20 yards. USC leads the Pac-12 in preventing plays over 20 yards. Something has to give.

Monte Kiffin’s defense is built to bend but not break, and that is what the Trojans have done this season. However, 13 of the 16 big plays that USC has given up this season have come on the road. So it is especially important the the defense buckle down and stop Matt Scott and the Arizona offense from having success down field.
