The USC Trojans moved up one spot to No. 8 in the Coaches’ Poll after a commanding win over the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday. To be sure, the Trojans were supposed to win this game big, but the way that they did it and the near-perfect performance QB Matt Barkley put on must have earned the Trojans so style points. The Top 5 looks mostly the same, with Alabama leading the pack for the eighth week in a row, Oregon coming in a No. 2, and then Florida, Kansas State, and Notre Dame rounding out the Top 5.

Something interesting to note: Oregon State is 6-0 for the first time in over 100 years.
